Everything about the property was excellent- the hosts were friendly and approachable, the food was beyond compare - fresh, well cooked and presented and delicious. The room and bathroom were spotless and a really good size. The accommodation decor was well thought out and the room was a great size.
When we mentioned where we were staying to other guests at the wedding we were attending, they were really complimentary of the place, which would indicate that they have an excellent reputation locally.
One small thing- I think the boiler was housed in a cupboard in our room (6) and it began to tap
around 4.30am on the second morning, which was a bit distracting for a while.

The gardens were nice
The female owner was quite rude. Hurrying us through a very expensive breakfast because she ‘had other guests’ as well.
The room wasn’t ready despite having asked and paid for early check in, to be told that I hadn’t informed them and having to dig out the email chain to prove it
The room had dead flies in it
