Friendly and professional staff. Good location. Clean room. Excellent breakfast.
The double room was too compact, making it hard to get down the sides of the bed. The bathroom cubicle where the toilet is, would be cramped for anyone that is not anorexic.

Good location, enough parking space, and not far from shopping and restaurants

I don't know if the rest of the Berjaya chain are like this hotel in Akuryeri, but this was a wonderful hotel. Our dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious (especially my vegan choice) and the lobby bar has a reasonably-priced happy hour (for Iceland). The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Even the artwork is interesting.
All good.

Location
There was a lot of noise, and the room doors were not well insulated. Doors were constantly being slammed, which made it difficult to relax.
The bathroom door in the room was made of glass and was awkward to close, offering very little privacy or comfort.
The shower is also in need of repair and should be fixed.
