From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed! The staff were already waiting for us with refreshing towels, and we were offered a welcome drink at reception. Such a lovely way to start our stay! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful: spacious, elegant, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The staff are SUPER friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The swimming pool area is wonderful, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Our room was very spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We also included breakfast in our stay, and it was excellent! A generous buffet with a great variety of delicious, high-quality options. Restaurant for lunch or dinner is great. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the incredible safari experiences with Sabelo and Patrick! Both were fantastic guides: extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain so much about the wildlife and everything we encountered along the way. It was not only exciting but also a wonderful opportunity to learn and appreciate nature even more. Ghost Mountain Inn offers the perfect balance between relaxation, comfort, and unforgettable safari adventures. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

The location is adjacent to my favorite game reserve, the flora and garden layout are stunning with huge fever trees and other indigenous trees and shrubs. The suite that we stayed in was comfortable and luxurious with an enormous bathroom and shower as well as an outside shower. The bedroom has extraordinary views of the garden. The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. 100% my favourite accommodation in the Mkuze region.

I could and should have booked for a longer stay. The roads leading up to the Ghost mountain inn are atrocious.

Beautiful peaceful accommodation in the heart of Zululand. Was really lovely it was my birthday and the hotel was so accommodating they put me and my guests in a pvt dining room for birthday supper. Gave a slice of cake the a birthday plate very special. Duty Manger Nathi and his team were fantastic. Michelle greeted at arrival so lovely. The spa treatments and Dudu and Rafiki were awesome therapists. Room is super clean Bathtub small as in short but then deep..it fitted me perfectly 5.2f. Every thing worked. Thank you GMI team ...we will be back.

On bookings.com it said there are gowns in the rooms...there were not.
