Loved the classic style hotel, a bit dated in places but only added to the character. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and really made our stay.
Slightly too loud music in the hotel bar, but not the end of the world.

Great location, excellent views, old style charm, large room.
Strange method of checking in, asked to take our passport/ID and sit and wait. I don’t like handing my papers to anyone when I am perfectly capable of checking in myself.
On checking out we were pushed to be assisted to do a review in booking.com which again we are perfectly capable of doing ourselves.

the bed was large and comfortable though the pillows were very hard. Had a side view from the balcony of the corniche which was lovely. The breakfast on the upstairs terrace had a beautiful view
more plug points on each side of the bed would have been useful as there was only one useable one (fridge and TV were plugged in the others). The air-conditioning was noisy

The location and the style
Very old rooms need renovations , amenities are quite cheap compared to the room style
