You’ve probably heard of Poseidon, Zeus, Hera, and all the other famous Greek gods and goddesses—but let me introduce you to Maria, the goddess of hospitality:
Tucked away on a small mediterranean island, Maria and her family run a very cute hotel. It features several houses, a nice pool, and recently renovated, stylish rooms.
Our room had a gorgeous sea view and comfortable beds.
Every food we had was just exquisite, and the staff also had an awesome taste in music!
While it could have been "just" a great hotel stay, Maria was the one who made it truly unforgettable.
She pays attention to every single guest, welcoming you with fun wit, warm words, and hugs.
Staying here feels like visiting that cool, favorite side of your family you always look forward to seeing.
We still talk about Maria and her family often and keep that stay in a very special place in our hearts.
We were super conflicted if we should ever share this experience (but Vasilaras Hotel truly deserves it) or keep it as a secret so there will always be two beds left.

Warm welcome, beautiful big room, nice balcony with sea view, very comfortable bed, nicely decorated and very clean. Great location, next to the harbour, beaches, shops and restaurants. And last but not least, the sweet orange cat 🐈 that made me company on my way back to the room 😄
The door needed some maintenance, and the little room with the table and the refrigerator could use some decoration.

The location was excellent, right near the port, and everything was conveniently close to the hotel. The room was spacious and super comfortable, and we had an incredible view. We really enjoyed our stay!
However, despite having a nice and spacious room, it wasn’t very clean, and there was no hot water when we arrived.
