Markham Court

The location was excellent and met our needs.

The beds were very hard and could be renewed.

We loved our stay here. It was a home away from home. Great location but a quiet street and neighborhood. Great facilities. Very comfortable and secure parking too. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the Goal coast.

Nothing to report. Maybe, just a suggestion to clear a spot in cupboard in the kitchen for a pantry? Just something we noticed but definitely not something to complain about :)

The team managing the property responded promptly to all enquiries (even out of hours). Graham was very friendly and helpful. The property was immaculately maintained, with clean paths and gardens, clear instructions on where to find things and how to get around. The pool was lovely and the BBQ area (whilst we didn't use it) was really well maintained. The room was clean and tidy.

- Absence of toiletries (other than a small round of soap). Shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated. No shower shelf meaning soap had to sit on the floor. A small thing but a simple thing to fix. - Ensuite bathroom tiling on floor meant water didn't drain, bathroom floor flooded every time shower was used meaning sopping wet bathmats every day. - Beds in the second bedroom were very soft and my eldest son struggled to sleep as ended up pressed up against the wall most nights due to the soft mattresses. - The rooms were not entirely as advertised, which I spoke with Graham about. I understand that the complex is owned by individuals and managed by the Managers. As such, every apartment is set up and furnished differently. The 'Superior' apartment we ended up in was dark, on the ground floor (with very limited privacy as our lounge windows opened up to the path that others used to get to their apartment so we had to keep our blinds closed until everyone in our unit was up and showered/ dressed - no sheer curtains on the windows meant you either had the blinds open or closed - meaning we couldn't enjoy natural light in the morning) It also had an older renovation (I suspect close to 10 years old) - our initial reaction on entering the apartment was that it wasn't the "Superior Apartment" we booked as it looked nothing like the photos advertising superior apartments on the Booking.com site. Graham took the time to explain the reasons for this, and offered to show us an apartment that was the next tier down so we could see/ understand the difference. The place was full so there was no option to move us. - Kitchen was modestly kitted out - basic cooking facilities on an electric stove is always challenging so we ended up eating out most nights.

Great location. Pool area was great, handy position and BBQ area looked good.

Very tired unit, beds were very hard in single bed room, sliding door didn’t work to balcony, no blind in bathroom, very uncomfortable couch, average kitchen facilities.
