The apartment was super spacious, with plenty of natural light. The underfloor heating was a pleasant surprise!
The window in the bedroom wouldnt shut, which meant that the noise on Bath Street carried through into our room and we couldn't sleep. I let reception know about it on the Sunday, but they didnt respond to me until the Wednesday of our stay. They weren't able to fix the window and used packing tape to close the gap, and we ended up asking to move apartments on the Friday morning as we weren't sleeping. This was arranged for us, but as there wasnt a physical reception at our location there wasnt the best communication.

The location is great and communication with the host was excellent but limited to office hours. The rooms were big and the toilets equipped. Easy access through app, water in the fridge and TV in one room and living room. Nice heated floors in some of the rooms. The receptionist on check out was super nice and let us store the suitcases for a couple hours in their other location on George square.
There were signs in the rooms that indicated they were not properly cleaned (liquid rings on bedside tables, scuffs and marks on multiple surfaces in bathroom, dust on towel warmers etc). The photos do not match the actual flat, in reality it was way more "run down" and plain looking (2 pillows instead of the 4 pictured, multiple scuffs on walls, kitchen and living room looked way more cold and empty with furniture that seemed like it was just left there and did not match at all (overall vibe was absolutely not like pictured). The windows open a tiny crack which does not stay open so they remain closed all the time which was not the best. Netflix and other streaming services are not installed, phone casting is the only option. Wifi was good.

Excellent location which we chose carefully. It’s a very spacious place at least the living space and corridor. The bathrooms were well appointed and it was lovely to have a range of teas and coffees available on arrival. The beds were comfy and most things worked. Parking in the basement was also really convenient for us. There were no staff present but they did respond to emails which was very helpful.
The overall feel of the property was a bit impersonal and empty. It was an odd layout with small bedrooms distant from the living space. The TVs were frustrating - we never managed to get them to work and there was nothing about how to work them in the FAQs. We tried to connect our phones, laptops using WiFi but no joy. This was minor. And the lift was slightly worrying as there appeared to be a bloody handprint on the door!
