Cozy 2-bedroom apartment in charming historic 1920's home with original bathroom and all original woodwork, updated with modern amenities and wanting for nothing. Enjoy an amazing night's sleep on new luxury firm hybrid mattresses in both the king and queen bedrooms, with luxurious hotel-style linens and comforters and pillows. Well-stocked eat-in kitchen with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal including gas stove, complete pots and pans, dishwasher, coffee station, microwave, etc. A short Uber or subway ride into Boston. Centrally located for day-trips to Salem, the Cape, Maine, the White Mountains, and about a mile from the new Assembly Row complex with restaurants, movie theatre, and shopping; and less than two miles from Encore Boston Harbor Casino.

The house and grounds are gorgeous. So much charm. Absolutely everything we could think of was provided. The kitchen had all appliances that are new and many gadgets. We grilled one night on a very nice grill in backyard. The bathroom is nice and bright with an excellent shower. All shower supplies were provided. Everything was very neat and clean. Mark was a very personable and thoughtful host. We would stay there again.

This is an exceptional property across categories. It's pristine and the most well-provisioned of all places at which we have stayed. You can tell how much it means to the host to make his home welcoming; he has a generous spirit. There are carefully curated details everywhere: top notch appliances, awesome decorations, clear directions written out everywhere. Just outstanding.

This is our second stay at Mark’s property. He continues to update the property (always clean!) and retain the beautiful historic features while also making the living spaces perfect to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. We traveled and stayed with two of our adult children. We all loved the coffee, tea bar in the morning. Most VRBOs do not have coffee ready for you, but Mark does. Much appreciated. I seriously need to buy the Kitchen Aid small oven in that space! It was ideal for making morning quiche and reheating our leftover pizza for snacks without needing to heat up the big kitchen oven during the July hot days that Mother Nature threw our way. Kitchen has everything you need. The air conditioning units worked great as well. We played family games at the dining table while enjoying some beverages. The beds are super comfortable and we all slept well while away from home. This is probably the most important thing!!Thanks for providing shampoo, conditioner, body washes too. These are the things I often forget. Full laundry with detergent allowed us to refresh clothes too. I wish we could have had time to enjoy the beautiful patio but the weather was too warm for us to do that. Next time! The property is as it is described. Easy check in process and Mark responds quickly to questions. At any rate, if you want a great place in Boston, just book Mark’s place!
