We had choosen Port Alberni due to its location as startingpoint to explore the area. Access from the B&B to the village is excellent as well as to Tofino etc.
Description of the appartment (we booked the one with en-suite bathroom and balcony) met exactly the situation on-site. Very clean, well maintainted, great view from balcony, excellent beds.
For those requiring darkness, we suggest to bring sleeping masks. Heating worked well.
The B&B is well organized by its owners. Good communication, clear rules. After a very short warm-up phase, we had interesting conversation and lots of insights. Very much appreciated.
Taking into consideration that we are guests, we are happy to follow rules in someone else home. A point to consider might be that having breakfast until 9:30hrs would meet some guests idea of having a little more sleep while being on vacation.

It is a lovely, unique BnB. We stayed for one night and got provided with everything we needed including a delicious breakfast. The owners are nice and very helpful.

Location was fairly close to downtown. House and room were very clean and bed was comfortable
Made to feel a bit like an intruder the whole time and was a bit noisy with so many people moving around
