Although our flight was cancelled and we unfortunately missed our first night, we were warmly welcomed by Jean Nicolas when we arrived the following day. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, giving us great recommendations about the town and the best places to explore. He made sure we felt comfortable and at home throughout our stay.
The location was exceptional, just a short walk from the churches I wanted to explore, and everything was conveniently within walking distance, making it easy to discover the town.
We absolutely loved the character of the house, with its antique furniture, creaky floorboards, and authentic vintage decor. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was a real treat, with fresh bread and local yogurt that I especially loved. On our last morning, Jean Nicolas kindly made us crepes, which was such a lovely touch. He also generously let us use the breakfast area to enjoy our lunch one day.
Of all the places we stayed during our trip, this was our favourite, mainly because of Jean Nicolas’s genuine kindness and welcoming hospitality. We felt at home here and would love to return one day. Highly recommended!

Breakfast very good. Lots of choices and someone on hand to help if needed. Location very good for walking the Chemin de StJacques and for a few good restaurants nearby .
Not made clear that one could not get a car near the place . We arrived and road shut off by automatic bollards. We had to take bags a distance.Bollards were removed in the morning so we could drive in to load up the car.
Keys not in the lock box at the front door . Very stressful due to our late arrival and threatened rain . Got sorted by a phone call in the end. But gave us a lot of unnecessary stress at the end of a long day’s travel.
