Originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, Shore Acres Lodge is a unique collection of twelve mountain-style cabins along the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. Lakefront Cabin gives your family or small group the privacy of its own cottage while providing access to the shared lakefront spaces and recreational amenities throughout this historic Big Bear property.
Inside, the 600-square-foot cabin offers a comfortable and efficient setup for up to five guests. The bedroom features a king bed alongside a full/twin bunk, making it a flexible option for couples traveling with children or small groups looking to stay together. Direct deck access from the bedroom makes it easy to step outside and enjoy the mountain setting, while a hallway full bathroom serves the cabin.
High-speed Wi-Fi and a flat-screen streaming TV provide modern convenience when you're ready to relax indoors, but the lakefront setting is the real highlight. This cabin is not the fanciest high end cabin in Big Bear. However, it's location and lakefront views were exactly what my partner and I were looking for to decompress and get away from the city for a few days.
It has simple necessities: comfortable and clean furniture, kitchen with basic pots and pans and basic assortment of cooking tools (tongs, spatula, whisk, etc), wifi, fireplace (no gas line).

I liked how close of a walk this property was to the lake. I liked how quiet the place was. I also liked the distance. It was a quick drive to the village and to nearby stores.

This location is so nice but it needs an update. The carpets are outdated , if you take a bath it hurts as it has that rough stuff inside. The fridge faces the wall. It just needs some TLC for price. The chairs and couch are almost breaking. We rent on this and just think that it needs some attention. Thanks but location phenom
