M House is a great place to stay and value for money for sure. List of things that I really like:
1. Excellent location—in the general area of the city center, a few minutes on foot from all the places you need to visit, and next to public transportation (although my suggestion is to walk to the places you wish to visit because everything is within a very short distance). Keep in mind that the historical center has hills, so expect minor hills to walk.
2. M House is also next to great options for food, cafes, bars, bakeries, and a local market, and very close to Knez Mihailova Street and the National Museum, as well as to the bohemian Skadarska Street and Kalemegdan (at most 15-20 minutes on foot).
3. I am a fat person, so I asked about the size of the toilet. They upgraded me to a room that was bigger, and thus the bathroom space was bigger—I had no issue using the facilities, and it was great!
4. Great internet connection.
5. Very clean place; nice that they give you free bottles of local water :)
6. What was a very pleasant surprise is that they provide you—besides the standard towels, shampoo, and hand wash—also with napkins and one-use hotel slippers (I have only seen that being provided in Greece or in very, very, very expensive hotels in Europe).
7. Mini-bar prices were reasonable in my opinion.
8. Very friendly and helpful staff.
9. Very nice breakfast—the chef was constantly renewing the food and made sure that sausages, eggs, etc., would stay warm.
10. Air conditioning was working well, and a hairdryer was also provided.
11. Nice bed—at least for my taste. Not too soft, not too hard. I had a great sleep.
12. A lot of space to put your things—and a big desk to sit and do your writing, organizing, etc.
13. Instant coffee and tea were also offered in the room (I didn't use them, but it was nice), a kettle, and cups.
Ι am sorry but didn't thought of taking pictures in order to show you how comfortable the room and the bathroom were :(
1. The mini-bar didn't work as a mini-fridge, and I would have liked a place where I could put water or a dessert to remain cool (maybe it was a mini-fridge and I didn't understand how it works).
2. It does not have an elevator. OK, this is not such a big issue as it might sound—but I wrote it in this section because it might be an issue for a few people. Obviously, it is not accessible for people who need support with walking or use a wheelchair.
But on the bright side: the staff was more than willing to help you with your baggage. Also, the stairs are not many. And the only real issue is that the last 5-6 steps of the stairs are—how to describe it—bigger/higher than the rest of the stairs.
But overall, believe me guys, it is not a big deal.

The chef was super friendly and food was nice. Location is good.
We booked the double size bed because we were with our baby but we had got the two single beds attached to each other, so we had to improvise and fill the gap between the beds with towels.
Parking was at extra cost of €15 per day in the underground garage.
We’re accommodated at the top floor with very steep stairs which with the baby was a bit challenging, as there was no elevator.
