The quality of stay (room, staff, facilities, restaurant etc) were really great and made the price so worth it!
The room was super comfortable, aircond and water pressure functioned well. There were bathrobes and bedroom slippers, as well as plenty of complimentary drinks and snacks.
The food was great and also well worth the price.
A few plug points werent working in the room and the floor was still a little sandy when we first got to the room. Tv is very basic and connection wasnt great (quite some static).

Complimentary mini bar, the view, friendly staff

• Lovely, comfortable room.
• Great location, with easy access to Long Beach and the jetty.
• Good selection of food at breakfast.
• Nice and friendly staff.
− The air conditioning in our room was absolutely horrendous. Maintenance came to the room four times, but despite this, we were never offered a room change. Eventually, we gave up asking. Maintenance gave us an extra card to keep the air conditioning running 24/7, but unfortunately the room still never cooled down.
− It was extremely difficult to sleep in the heat, and unfortunately this meant we didn’t get much rest during our stay. Because of this, I can’t say our stay was perfect.
− The WiFi was also very poor and unreliable.
Overall, the hotel has a lovely room, a great location and friendly staff, but the air conditioning issue really affected our stay.

The location was great right next to the jetty. The staff were friendly. Room was comfortable. Free daily mini fridge. There is alot of litter and plastic on the island so it was great seeing a cleanup effort from the hotel on the hillside.
The bathroom and shower felt dirty. It was cleaned daily but the shower had some milddew in. Top shower didn't work properly.
Breakfast was expensive relative to other restaurants on the island.
Overall I would have been more critical. However, given the lack of options on the island and overall quality of other accommodation I think the hotel was reasonable.
It could do with more maintenance and better cleanliness in the bathroom.
I also noticed people commenting on the sewer pool. I also smelt this when I walked into the hotel but later realized it was not the pool at all. There is either a sewage treatment facility nearby or a sewage problem on the island. I think for overall comfort it would be great if this issue was addressed at the island level.
