They have breakfast or dinner and you only need to tell them the night before. The kitchen is outside and comfortable for eating there. You can address any questions in their WA group. The room we stayed in is large, with a good shower and comfortable beds. The place is 10m away from Malioboro Street. The staff were lovely and welcoming.
Would nice to have a TV in the room. It's really noise on that street in the morning, only at 7AM, a lot of whistle from the police officer otherwise the place is quiet for the rest of the day. You may hear the mosque loudly in the room every morning.

when I book it. didn't know it's so central convenient. Walk to those museums, mallibolo, the super early food market Pasar Ngasem n some sight sites like water palace all near by.
The room is big, clean and bed is very comfortable.
The owner lady is super kind.
only need to carry suitcase down by stairs. haha

-The air conditioning works perfectly.
-Nice staff, very polite.
-Clean room and clean bed linen.
-The included breakfast is ok.
-There was a punctual water infiltration due to the rains which made us have to move the bed to the centre of the room in order to avoid them.
-There were uncovered windows (no curtains) with made it hard to sleep past 6am because of the intense morning light.
-There is a mosque nearby so you can hear it loudly enough as to wake you up at night.
