I had a lovely stay at Casa Scalzi.
It feels more like a small house than a flat. Casa Scalzi is very tastefully furnished and it’s clear that a very talented interior designer was at work here. There are beautiful wooden floors throughout the flat. Everything looks very new, fresh, extremely well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Even the towels were of wonderful quality.
You simply can’t help but feel at home in this flat!
The landlord, Marco, was extremely helpful both before and throughout my stay, and communication was absolutely exemplary and prompt.
Casa Scalzi is situated in a pleasant neighbourhood, and it’s really just a stone’s throw to the nearest metro station. The metro runs every few minutes, and the journey to Rome city centre takes just over 10 minutes. The flat is also very easy to reach from the airport by train without having to change lines.
Just a few steps behind the building, there’s even a lovely market where you can buy wonderful fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, fish, meat and so on.
I can really recommend this flat in the warmest terms and would love to stay there again on my next visit to Rome!

Great location! 2 minute walk to the metro and an 8 minute walk to a train that takes you directly to the airport without all the crowds! Super spacious apartment, very modern bathroom, a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine and a private balcony!
The air conditioning wasn't working properly during my stay - because it's a central building issue it never got fixed during my stay (a heatwave in Rome) - but they delivered fans eventually and gave me a discount on a nights stay so it was resolved fine!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable, and the location was great. Sergio was very kind, helpful and always ready to help. We really appreciated his hospitality and all his recommendations. We felt very welcome and would happily stay here again! 😊

The apartment is well located, close to the subway, several large stores, a pharmacy, etc. Everything within 5 minutes walking distance.
Very good contact from the landlord, we were also able to check in early.
The apartment is well equipped, has high-speed Internet (download and high-speed upload).

The apartment is located on the side of the street on which there is a market, which starts working at 5 am which means that if someone has a shallow sleep it will be a torment for him.
The entrance gate located directly below the bedroom is terribly noisy, every closing of the door causes a terrible bang, if you are looking for peace and quiet do not choose this place.
The sofa in the living room looks a bit like from a dumpster, it should be replaced.
The apartment should be cleaned a little better, there is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, the shower stall should be properly washed (either it is dirty grout, or it is mold).
Wet washcloths after cleaning should not be left in the closet where the ironing board is, the unpleasant smell of wet cloths can penetrate into the bedroom.
No dishwasher so you are faced with hand washing.
The pillows are not comfortable.
