Good enough to sleep

Other tenants were very kind. The property is a bit far from the city center, but I can take a bus quite often. I enjoyed working around the property and found several places to enjoy good views.

It would be useful if the host gives the instruction in English. Everytime I needed translation. It was difficult to unlock/lock the key of the room door. The shower gave only cool water or hot water, because of low pressure of cool water. The dish washer was broken. I could not watch football matches on TV.

Ideal for Solo Travellers

Great location. Close to the supermarket, bus stops, and restaurants. I stayed in a room, enough for a solo traveller. It was well-equipped and comfortable. But what makes this place even more special is Rachel's welcome. An exceptional hostess, full of kindness and availability, who really makes the difference. Her attention and kindness touched me deeply.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The only positive aspect is its location, which is close to a bus stop and also near the city center.

I definitely didn't like the service. The owner of the establishment was constantly rude to me via text message, insinuating that I was unfairly judging her for asking for proof of the refund of my security deposit, which was more than my right. After all, her insistence on completing the room reservation with an advance deposit, via bank transfer and outside the Booking platform, of 500 CHF was continuous and intrusive, which immediately made me feel completely insecure. After checking out of the room, I waited more than a week for the refund, as there were holidays that week, according to her, so I requested proof of payment and more details about the progress of the bank transfer she had made. She considered this an affront and a reason to treat me rudely at all times on WhatsApp, even suggesting that I was committing some kind of crime and that she would block me. Overall, the communication was terrible at all times, and it was a stressful and distressing few days. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation to anyone; it's not worth all the stress, and the quality of service is very poor. Regarding the accommodation, the room was small and had a strange smell that I didn't know where it came from; it seemed like some kind of smoke and was present at all times when you opened the door to enter, which almost made me leave. I tried to open the window to air out the stuffy environment a bit, and the window simply fell off. It was in terrible condition, dirty, and made of poor material with little sealing and no care. The owner's son came to put the curtain back up after I insisted that it was impossible to sleep in a completely open room with no sealing whatsoever, compromising privacy. Furthermore, there was no working light in the room; it was dark at all times. I told her this, and she advised me to use a kind of light from a lamp next to the desk, which clearly wasn't enough, so the room was completely dark at night.

Die Gastgeberin war äusserst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft (près de la route de la vue des alpes) ist gut und es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Damit kann man in einer Küche kochen was das Herz begehrt. Das Zimmer grosszügig.

Quick responses from the owner, though sometimes hard to translate into English.

Too many cleaning requirements and the deposit was extreme. No lights where the lock boxes were so hard to get them open.
