A very beautiful property, you can tell that the owner (Martin Stratker) put a lot of thought and time into building this hotel. Not just the buildings, but the pathways, decor, and every detail was very well-manicured and placed. The landscaping was also very well-kept. The hotel truly was a piece of sculptural art.
While the property was beautiful, the staff is where this hotel truly excels. Martin was always available at the reception and was extremely attentive, always predicting my needs before I brought them up. The rest of the staff was very kind and attentive as well. They helped me plan my day trip to Isla del Sol, let me store my bags there an extra night (locked away safely), did my laundry, and got me taxi services to and from the property (upon leaving I was in a rush to catch my bus and they moved with extreme urgency to get me to the bus stop, I probably would’ve missed it if not for their help). I cannot speak more highly of Martin, Victor, and the rest of his staff. They truly were the most hospitable staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I am unsure if this was an issue with the hotel or just the water on Copacabana, but the bathroom in Suite 9 (El Tipi) smelled like sewage at times. The smell was coming from the toilet/shower and did go away after being the toilet was flushed a couple times and the shower was used (hence why I assumed it was the water and not the bathroom itself).

The best thing there is in Copacabana. The hotel is amazing. You can enjoy strolling around the hotel areas and grounds, there were two llamas on the hotel grounds along with chickens too. There's a lot of seating areas to enjoy the view of Lake Titicaca. The views from our hotel room are incredible! The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds are worth mentioning, it has it's own heater. The beds sheets are comfortable. I would like to mention the staff are very nice and accommodating. Overall the stay was really worth it. I truly recommend this place to anyone visiting and staying at Copacabana.

The location was perfect, with the view of the lake and beautiful houses. The design of the house was magnificent and breathtaking, it was different and interesting in a good way (we were staying in suite 9). The staff working were so helpful and nice. For example we were going to Isla del sol with our backpacks but the staff told us to leave our bags at las Olas so we didn’t need to carry them up the steep hills on the island, which we didn’t think about before. Very grateful for that.

This is the place to stay in Copacabana. The rooms are all uniquely designed, ours was equipped with a small kitchen, amazing view of the sunset and the shower made from rocks!! Great location and easy access to the main street and restaurants. Good value for money and great host.
