The staff were lovely. Provided a kettle and mugs upon request. More affordable than hotels in the actual city of Bruges but very easy to get to the city by car (or probably easy by bus too as we saw bus stops)
Great lighting in the room, electric thermostat so it was nice a warm.
Breakfast was better than I expected from an Ibis budget hotel. You could have boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, some salad items and fruits as well as lovely croissants etc
Little play area and a lake outside which must be lovely in the summer.
The rook was very small and basic but fine for a night or two.

Staff were friendly.
Early check in is a myth. This specific IBIS budget might be many things but its not nailed this requirement. There is no such thing as early check in. Paying for an extra night just to check in early (07:00) is the reality. Can't even do Decaf coffee.
