I've stayed here many times over the years. The location here is perfect if you like to be away from all the crowds at the other beaches. You won't be harassed by sellers here! It's quiet and a close drive to town. The views at sunset/sunrise are spectacular! Every room has a perfect view of the ocean from the patio. Perfect for morning coffee! Housekeeping is so very helpful and kind! Anything you need, she's on it! The Casitas are small but think of it as a "love nest for 2". Bring a cooler for extra snacks and food/drinks. ( a small store down the street sells ice) There is a small "hotel size" fridge for some things and a microwave. If you're looking to cook your own meals, rent the Villa. It has a full size kitchen and room for more people. 3 of us stayed in the Villa and loved it!
The stairs to the beach. Be prepared to get a little workout during your stay, lol. But it's worth it for the beach. And most places in this area have a hill or stairs to reach the beach. The property is a little outdated, needing a fresh coat of paint, cracked tile here and there, etc. I would recommend bringing some Command hooks, for there aren't a lot of options for hanging towels, hats, etc. Sliding glass doors on some rooms are difficult, and there are NO screens. So no way to let the fresh beach air in without getting a room full of insects. This is the beach in Mexico, and you will find the occasional cockroach here and there, but this is no different than anywhere else I've stayed in Rocky Point.

The location is amazing, right on the beach it was so beautiful
The air conditioning was fine for sleeping but almost impossible to be inside past 9 am. It kept it cooler than outside but mid summer wasn’t cool by any means until night time
