Second time staying at the Horseshoe Hotel. Lovely countryside side pub.
Staff were excellent - great evening meal and breakfast.
Room five curtains need some attention.

Well located for coast to coast hike. Room reasonably comfortable - able to sleep. Updated bathroom. Breakfast average.
Rooms still need work - towel from previous occupant still in bathroom. Some peeling paint and holes in the wall. Wifi did not work in the room. No heater - but was provided when requested. No real common areas where guests can sit - dining rooms fairly shabby with old fire-damaged carpets etc (slightly beyond hunting lodge-chic).
