The best things about this stay were the views, location, and Elizabeth - the manager - and her team.
Before we arrived, Elizabeth had sent me information on places to eat, things we could book, and offering to book them for us. She kindly arranged transfers to and from the port - this was a bit fancy for us, but we’re so glad we did it as there were SO many people and it was quite a drive.
When we arrived at Oia, Elizabeth greeted us with a hug, our luggage was carried to the accommodation, and she showed us a few key places to remember and how to do things around the accommodation.
Elizabeth had arranged a catamaran cruise for us - and had even altered the day according to the weather forecast, which we were very grateful for as the day we had requested poured down.
The cave was beautifully clean and tidy and was kept this way over our stay. The kitchen -though small- allowed us to cook some dinners and we ate with very beautiful views over the caldera. The place was just stunning and the hot tub and small outdoor area were wonderful, right in the centre of town.
When our ferry was cancelled due to weather, Elizabeth helped us a lot, and we were very grateful for her generosity. When we left, our luggage was stored, then we were picked up and she farewelled us with a hug.
This personal touch and generosity was truly the best thing about the place. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location! Right next to the blue domes. Wonderful host, they carried our luggage on arrival and departure and booked our transfers.

The location is very centre. Right at the heart of Oia
The bed is uncomfortable. Quite a lot of insects inside the hot tub and the house, the light flicker on and off. The wifi is really slow, wait for 2 minute for an 8 minute video. To be honest, I booked the stay in a cave, so I can't complain about the Wifi. The host would offer helping you book a lot of activities and offered 80 euro transport (both ways) and discourage you to drive. The host kept saying that it's very hard to find parking in Oia really drove my anxiety up. We finally chose to drive and we loved it, not hard to find a place to park in Oia. (Shoulder season). Not a pleasant travel experience when you were told that it's hard to find parking and felt pressure in booking activity through the host, especially you want to relax.
There's not a lot of Santorini except for the "photo-spot" I would say 2 nights is more than enough. Wouldn't recommend Santorini nor this house. (We failed to book other hotels because they are not open in late March). Expensive and not worth it unless you are an influencer who wants to take "the photo".
