8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026

It was in a residential neighborhood, with restaurants and grocery store nearby. The host oriented us to the apartment, the neighborhood and the bus system. It was not a luxury neighborhood.

I was not informed when I made the reservation that I had to pay in cash. The apartment was very basic. Mosquitoes flew over my face and ear during the night.

This place is located within walk distance to restaurants, cafes, a market and the waterfront. There is also a bus stop just around the corner. It is spacious for three people or small family.

The owner was a bit too pushy to get paid in cash, what caused a bit of stress on my husband. As we had things planned differently. I arrived first with my son and my husband arrived the next day. The guy showed up at 11:30 pm, without sending a message, knocking at our door. I thought this was out of line.
