The room was spacious, and clean. The bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast options were ok, I really like the restaurants style.
Parking was easy, also the chek-in was smooth and quick.
The place is outside of the town, there was a lot of traffic, but I slept like a baby, hadn't heard anything.
I only spent one night, because of the program of my roadtrip, but honestly wished as I could spend more. This was the only place, where you could have had a long morning, no stress to reach the breakfast or check-out time.
Maybe the bathroom was a bit old, but still clean, so not a real negative thing.

Stopped recently in a very tired Premier Inn in Aberdeen and expected the same as similar price. This was the exact opposite. Guy and lady gave a superb Scottish welcome when I arrived tired at 8pm after driving 420 miles! It really cheered me up as they even knew my name. The room was spotless and the hotel looked like it has had a recent refurbishment. New carpets etc. Lovely welcome at 7am for breakfast with an amazing choice of cooked options from an extensive menu as well as continental options. I even had berries and yoghurt which is often a rarity. There is a large pub where you book in with food till late. It is situated next to other food outlets such as Macdonalds. Quiet location at the end of a road. Secure parking.
I can't comment on the surrounding town as headed home in the morning.

Price was good, room and ensuite were nice and clean.Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and there are shops nearby.
Couldn't get the room heating to work and walk across carpark from check in to accomdation block isn't ideal in the winter.
