It’s got some good facilities - cool laundrette/karaoke/games room, onsite cafe, bar, shop, CVS etc; bed was very comfy. Room was really spacious. Overall very clean and functional. Can get a free shuttle bus to the airport.
The vibe felt eerily empty. The rooms had a bit of an industrial feel to it. I felt like I was in high-end student digs. I also found it hard to work out which building I needed to go to to check in

What I didn’t like is that, compared to the prices in the area, it is significantly more expensive than a regular hotel. And yet, considering the difference in price, there are services that are not included. You have to go and ask for fresh towels yourself every day and ask for water yourself every day. We stayed for seven days and six nights, and cleaning was not included. I did complain about this because, honestly, the price we paid was quite high for the area—at least double what you would pay for a regular hotel. I think that for half the price, you could get a hotel that includes housekeeping, water, and towel changes. The sofa also smelled bad and was very stained. After I complained, they did clean the room once halfway through our stay, but there were no cleaning supplies available in case you needed to clean anything yourself, despite paying a fairly high price for a week. We also had a problem with the bathroom sink, which constantly leaked water whenever we used it. We reported it, and someone came to fix it, but it was still leaking afterwards, and they never came back to fix it properly. So every time we used the sink, the bathroom floor would get covered in water. So, in terms of value for money, while it is a very beautiful and well-designed place, I feel that it was quite disappointing considering how much we paid.
Nothing, it was great 😊!

Amazing location if staying outside of the larger places on Jeju. We were unlucky with weather but the hotel still had a very chilled vibe with plenty to do. The on-site coffee shop and GS-25 were fantastic.
If you want hustle and bustle the location is not great, but we knew beforw booking that wasn't going to be the case.

We were unlucky with the weather during our stay and so this is likely to have affected our impression of Playce Camp. The staff were fabulous and very helpful and friendly, the location is amazing and if you have a view of the water and volcanic cone it’s stunning! The hotel is also only a 5-10 minute walk from town which has really lovely friendly places to eat. There’s also a 24 hour convenience store on site and a laundry and kareoke booths. Really useful touch. In the end though, the cons outweighed the pros and we moved back to Jeju city a day early, mainly to have more space.
The rooms are quite small; they just about work for one person sleeping in them but it was cramped with two. There’s no drawers or wardrobes so nowhere to unpack and there’s not a lot of room to put suitcases. Something we hadn’t realised but teenagers are not allowed in Korean pubs and so we weren’t able to use the (really lovely looking) pub on site. We were unlucky with the weather and there are limited spaces to hang out as a family indoors apart from the bedrooms. The breakfast was more suited to Korean tastes, just something to bear in mind if you’re staying, but there is a Starbucks a 3 minute walk away.
