The one bedroom apartment is completely refurbished. There was ample space for the two of us. The parking lot is fantastic (one block away). Very quiet neighborhood.
3 story walk-up. Barrio Alto/ Misericordia neighborhood is very hilly. To avoid unnecessary climbing, head for the Barrio Alto Chiado green line metro. Enter and take a series of escalators to the Barrio Alto Chiado red line station. A couple of blocks to the main Praca

This beautifully decorated and stocked one bedroom apartment is ideal for young and fit people. It's only 800mts from the Chiado central area which is a 20 minutes uphill walk there. The surrounding area has cafes and small eateries. The apartment itself was comfortable with every amenity.
Location has very steep hills to climb just to get to nearby shops. The narrow 8 flights of stairs up to the top floor is killing if you are carrying heavy suitcases up. No lift or pulley system.

It was very comfortable and clean, it has everything you need and they even give you some basic groceries which is highly appreciated
Stairs, as in the rest of Europe there is really high stairs

Lovely quiet location, easy to walk around.
Easy communication with the host.
They left some food for me, and the brioche was amazing!
Nice decoration (and easy to find the WiFi, etc.)
The pillows are not very comfortable.
Walking up to the 3rd floor might be hard for some, especially with luggage (small, narrow stairs).
