Kebun Indah Ubud

Everything about this stay went well. From the time we were greeted until the time we left it was a great little piece of paradise in the town of Ubud, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. We were in Ubud for a few days to meet up with a tour of Bali. We booked 3 rooms. They were all different but all were very nice tropical looking decor with balconies. One over looked the pool, and the other 2 rooms had a beautiful views of the tropical landscape. The staff were all so wonderful and welcoming. The hotel is on various levels of steps so make sure you can walk steps. I loved that my room had an open bathroom with tub and shower, where I could enjoy nature while soaking in the tub. My king bed was so very comfortable and room size was ample. The hotel decor looks historic and older, which added to the charm. Ancient statues and tropical foliage is everywhere along the stairways that lead to the various levels of rooms. We did use the pool one evening. It felt wonderful and was right outside our room on lowest level. The breakfast each morning was delivered to our balcony, where we sipped coffee while viewing the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was cooked to order and was truly delicious. Air conditioning was very cool. Staff helped with whatever we wanted or needed. They were amazing and smiled all the time. We wanted massages and they arranged to drive us to their suggested massage location, that we used TWICE because it was so wonderful!!! I suggest using their choice. Many places in Ubud to get massages, but this one was GREAT!!!! The hotels is set back off streets of Ubud with a short walk down a secluded walkway to paradise. Once you hit the streets of Ubud, there are shops and major markets within a mile walk from the hotel. Very walkable to Monkey Park and many restaurants on the streets of Ubud. I would definitely stay here again. It is not a large hotel, but it has a heart and the most friendly staff.

- Amazing and welcoming staff - Great location in the middle of Ubud - Clean pool - Quiet most of the day

- Room was desperately in need of renovation (walls, the furniture, the AC machine, the doors and the bathroom) - Sheets had some old stains
