C Beyond Nilaveli is a truly special place. We spent three nights here at the end of our self-guided tour of Sri Lanka, looking for comfort and tranquillity, and it exceeded all our expectations. Staying here felt like a real privilege.
On arrival, Eric and the team welcomed us warmly. They are incredibly kind, considerate and impeccably professional. Despite the hotel being fully booked, we felt as though we had the place almost entirely to ourselves, allowing us to enjoy its wonderful peace and serenity.
The hotel’s unique design blends beautifully with its natural surroundings, reflecting the vision of Laki, the architect and artist. We have the utmost respect for Laki and the unbelievably inspirational place he has created here, as well as for the care Eric and his team take to preserve its respect for the environment and maintain its atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, with deep respect for nature. The lush, shady pool and the beach, which feels like an island paradise, make it truly idyllic.
Our family suite was spacious, luxurious and beautifully designed, with a wonderful indoor-outdoor bathroom and a private terrace overlooking the sea. Falling asleep to the sound of waves was magical.
The food was exceptional. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, while evening meals on the beach and terrace overlooking the lagoon and sea were unforgettable.
A heartfelt thank you to Eric, Deva and their wonderful team for looking after us so beautifully. C Beyond Nilaveli is a place we feel privileged to have experienced and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

It was well located, close to the beach, secluded and polite staff
Really surprised by all the positive reviews as it was not very clean, towels and bedding had stains, old wrappers in the beside table drawers. Breakfast food was clearly saved from unfinished food from other guests which was highly unhygienic. Breakfast was always cold.
