Hakoba was a stylish hotel in an old bank building. The interior design was lovely and the rooms were comfortable and reasonably well sized. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated the location as it was close to the British Embassy, Old Government Hall and the Museum of Northern Peoples (Ainu) and the lovely wide sloping streets - a beautiful spot to stroll around.

Great location. Very clean.
The room we were in was very, very small. There was not even a second chair and we had to ask the staff to bring in an extra chair. The room was only about 150 sq. ft. Not entirely comfortable for two people.

Awesome location, right by the Red Brick Warehouses and a short walk to Motomachi (which is the prettiest area ever). Next door to Lucky Pierrot and attached to a delicious soup curry restaurant.
