Bricks Hotel İstanbul

What an amazing stay! I stayed at Bricks for 10 nights following a Rhinoplasty, I am from the UK. I had the king suite - this room was incredible! The view from the balcony was great on the main road, could people watch all day! Especially good when you can't really leave the hotel - it definitely stopped me going insane! I also had my main bathroom and another smaller toilet which were very well equipped and spotless. The aircon was really good too and very reactive! They also had a pillow menu to choose from and you just call room service and they bring them! The kitchen area was great - 2 small fridges which were great to put my snacks & medicines in. I also had a kettle, microwave, plates etc so could have ready meals and tinned food! Again this was really helpful during recovery. I had a TV in the main room and one in my bedroom (all Turkish except BBC news) but I could plug my Chromecast into the lounge TV and watch YouTube etc! The hotel was able to book transport for me (yes a little more expensive than Ubers but it was nice to not worry about being scammed etc as I've heard this can happen!) The hotel also changed some £ into € for me and brought me a birthday cake on my birthday! Small little touches were so helpful. They also had a WhatsApp number to contact and replied within minutes! One night we unfortunately had a short 10 second power cut but they reassured me over WhatsApp straight away! I was with family for the first few days and then alone and I felt very safe throughout. Every single member of staff was attentive and looked after me, especially after surgery. You could dial number 6 on the phone and ice would be brought to you in a matter of minutes! After surgery they came straight out to the taxi physically helping me with my bags. I didn't unfortunately try any food in the hotel as I came quite prepared but other people who I spoke to said the food was great!

I was extremely happy to be helped to check-in earlier , as i came not for tourism but medical issues. Front Office were very helpful and kind. I can mention Mrs.IDEM as she was very kind and helpful with me. Bell boys also very kind and helpful. Housekeeping were also very efficient on 7th floor.....every day changing towels and cleaning the room.

I travel a lot and i use different categories hts in Istanbul but this htl is far away from being a 5 stars. In the room....still kettle for an instant powder coffee if you want, definitely needs wall hangers on the entrance corridor for your jackets. Windows are not closing well so during the day, you can hear the outside noise even at the 7the floor. Breakfast menu is poor, warm food is extremely poor , 1 or maybe 2 choices. Actually in 5 days i saw only some hot dogs in red sauce and the choice that you order by yourself: omlette or fried eggs. Juice only one choice. There was another juice, opposite site....dark color, they said is natural so if you wanted , you needed to pay extra 5 euro??? Ridiculous You pay 15 euro the breakfast and if you like to choose a stark colour juice you need to pay extra 5 euro? ......................... No soda water. I saw the yellow cheese display arranged with different types of yellow cheese, some of them with a diff colour, almost dried.....which was not very nice to look at or try it! I took pictures/video of it. If needed i can send them. Toilet outside the breakfast restaurant has teribble odoeur of pee.....reason for which they keep the door opened but.....smell doesn't dissapesr this way! It is disgusting. For 100 euro/night i can say that it didn't worth the money. I would suggest the GM to pay a visit to Novotel Zeytinburnu and see what means high class services, products displayed for meals and room arrangements.

The location for sure and everything is so overpriced, the room service is so so expensive and the soft drink in the fridge you have to pay for it which is triple the price

I liked the lay out of the room

A few items where damaged. The table was broken and unstable which I reported. The towel rack in the shower room was weak and actually fell down. We waited a while for room service. I ordered a chicken / meat pitta bread meal for lunch. It came with toast, there was no transparency about the pitta bread not being available it still cost the actual price which was 30 euros. Staff didn’t have a pleasant attitude about making it right
