Set in the beautiful Scottish border region this hotel is comfortable, clean and very well run. I had pit stopped here to break my drive to Edinburgh from London but very glad I did! I didn't try the breakfast but based on the rest of the hotel I'm sure it was very well prepared.

Nothing to dislike!

It was lovely very homely and the bed really comfy

The WiFi was poor/confusing as I think it was ment to come up per room but it only came up with two room numbers and took me a while to connect

Cleanliness, tasteful decoration, parking

Staff gave impression that they didn’t really want to be there. Not particularly friendly and welcoming. Being charged extra for a king sized room when this is what we paid for on Booking.com Bar meal very ordinary and not well presented.
