The history of area was well presented by information panels and James. The hosts James and Brenda were attentive and a pleasure to get to know, always around to help out and Brenda a great guide on one of our days. Loved James explaining his family history, felt privileged to meet such an interesting person. Great location in an amazing building and just felt you could immerse yourself into the local area with a lovely nearby cafe, Stella’s.

Location was good. James was very hospitable and responsive. He gave us lots of information about the park but also about the history of the area and his connection to it Close to a supermarket and restaurant..

James is possibly the best host we have ever had. So friendly, helpful, considerate, and knowlegable about the area. Although you have to pay he will pick you up and drop you off at the park (RM5pp) and laundry is available (RM15per kg). The room was basic, but had everything we needed, shower & toilet and a bed. The shared facilities were good for a homestay, lots of seating and space for multiple people. We did have to double up the matress, using two singles from the spare bed. The location is next to both the Marriot, and Stella cafe for food, with a convenience store only 5 mins walk away. For the cost, I couldn't recommend this enough! Forget the marriot or staying in the park. Stay here.

Walls are a little thin, so you can hear other guests moving around and talking outside the room.

Host was very communicative and provided very useful information, clean room, good fan speeds, great location
