Amazing location, gorgeous sea view! And the host was so lovely, we arrived very late but she happily kept in touch and met us to let us in and give us the keys

We liked the location and view. It was highly convenient for my husband to go to the beach everyday. It was the reason we selected this property. The property was roomy. Property manager was willing to meet us to find the property once asked. Early check in was highly appreciated. Kitchen items were nice to have. We really enjoyed Ortigia and will be back!
We did not feel welcomed. The property manager seemed as if she was not pleased with having to do her job. The very first message we got was for us to make sure we look at the trash /recycling schedule. It was challenging for us to find the property dragging our suitcases on the brick road. We had to asked for her to meet us on the road since we could not find the apartment but was on the correct road. More information for reference in finding this property would help greatly since it is easy to find if description would include : building to your left w/ large brown door as soon as you turn from main road. Sign is too small and locals don’t know the apartment name. There is no keypad . You have to meet w/ manager to get in. We are not used to meeting property owner in this manner or looking for an apt in Europe . We spent 2.5 weeks in Sicily and stayed in many types of accommodations including apartmentS. In comparison, all other managers gave us so much information and constant communication.
We stayed for 4 nights. She declined to give us more than 2 toilet paper and no offer to switch for clean towels. The bed is old and linens did not smell fresh.
It was too warm even with the AC but we made it work. We did not have running water for part of 2 days with 1 night having to buy bottled water to use to “shower” . Be prepared that this can happen anytime in Ortigia.

We absolutely loved it!! Family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Plenty of room, 2 bathrooms. Outdoor area and a washing machine. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops at our doorstep. Titi was an amazing host.

The apartment is in a great location - which matters a lot. In this sense, it was perfect.
The host was brief but polite, also great.
The apartment was spacious and clean, and good from a practical standpoint for smaller children, with no stairs.
The appartment is not very cozy. It is at street level with entrance directly from the street and all windows facing directly to the street. Also resulting in being dark despite the inner terrace, which was nice. The terrace was however also a bit dark and noicy, with some machine always humming in the background and a loud noice every time anyone in the buidling flushes the toilet.
Overall we had a great time mainly due to the location, but the place itself is not the very nicest.
