Excellent, service-oriented, friendly, and welcoming staff; on-site hiking trail (44 bird species, one tapir, and one tayra in one of our 2-hour AM hikes); well managed spa; isolated but close to town and "attractions" (including Tapir Valley). Rustic but comfortable accommodation (ours with A/C, which we may not have needed but enjoyed nonetheless); laundry service - great for us as we were doing two major hikes every day); VERY accommodating to English and semi-fluent (A2-B1 level) Spanish...I'm sure there's more but I do need to get back to work!
...that we had to leave!

This was our 3rd year going back and once again everything was ecellent. Went to a restaurant in town but no comparison to the cooking/meals served at the finca plus sitting by the fire is great!

Location and atmosphere were nice and very cool. Outside terrace also great and we liked the morning Cacao tour. The food was also really good. Overall a nice experience.
We found 10 cockroaches in our room and in our bed. Understandable to be surrounded by animals and insects in the middle of nature. However, we think that based on the price, the room should have been at least cockroach free. It was poorly isolated too, making the cabin very warm during the day and too cold during the night. Add to it the noise specially when raining.
