All together nice experience
There really more of a experience than just lodge. Lodges are very simple but it is middle of the jungle so it seems appropriate. Staff were really nice but sometimes you wandered who runs this place, most of the staff seemd pretty random. I guess it has it's unique charm.
The main building is very comfy with good wifi reception.
Although there were activities planned, some seemd a little to simple. F.e. it started at 8am and finished at 10am. And than another started at 3pm...which gives 5 hours of doing nothing and you came to this jungle to do something, to experience jungle. Also, I was promised a hiking walk and nothing like that had place. So the activities - make sure you discusse about them at the begining to set a plan because I spent a lot of time just sitting there and in my opinion that's not what I came there for.

Amazing rainforest experience, made even better by our guide Carlos
I was very happy with the accommodation overall. The transport from Iquitos airport to the resort and back was well organised, and communication with the staff who drove us was easy.
The reception area was great, especially considering that we were in the middle of the rainforest. There was Wi-Fi and electricity available for charging our phones, which was very useful. The staff mainly spoke Spanish, which was sometimes a bit challenging, but since there was Wi-Fi, we could easily communicate using a translator.
Our guide Carlos was absolutely amazing. He spoke English very well and, being a local, shared many interesting stories and things from his own experience. He made the whole experience much more personal and enjoyable.
We had three meals a day, usually with a main course, often a dessert and a local fruit drink. Everything was local and traditional, which we really enjoyed.
The cabins were quite well equipped considering that we were staying in the rainforest. Of course, there were all kinds of insects around, but the beds had mosquito nets, mosquito-repellent candles were available, and the veranda had a hammock, which was perfect for relaxing.
The area around the resort was also well maintained. We had around 2–4 excursions every day, so there was a great balance between exploring the rainforest and having some time to relax.
Overall, it was a truly amazing experience, especially because of Carlos. He guided us for four days through all kinds of places and activities and made the whole trip very memorable.
The main difficulty was that most of the staff spoke mainly Spanish, so communication was sometimes a little challenging. However, with Wi-Fi available, we were able to use a translator, so it was not a major problem.

Definitely will book another place or would be back only if I see they do a change on the experience and also help peopl
My stay cost around $1,000 for two people for 4 days and 3 nights. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, and I cannot recommend this place.
Logistics and Hidden Costs:
Our flight arrived at 1 p.m., which meant that the car and Amazon River boat transfer were not included. We had to pay an additional $200+. The hotel insisted this fee goes directly to the local workers, but when we spoke to the staff, they mentioned they do not receive any extra benefits or additional compensation from the company. This felt dishonest.
Facilities and Safety:
While I understand the "eco-lodge" concept, the structural condition of the lodge is very poor. The "walls" are made of mosquito netting, but they were not properly sealed, leaving large gaps where animals could easily enter. Furthermore, since there is no electricity and the lodge only provides power for one hour a day, you cannot even rely on your phone’s flashlight. Surprisingly, they do not provide flashlights to guide guests from the main area to the rooms at night, which felt unsafe.
Dining and Tours:
The breakfast options were very basic, and while lunch and dinner were slightly better, there was very little variety. The tours were just "okay"—nothing special that I would recommend.
Final Verdict:
The only positive aspect of this place is the staff. They are humble, hardworking people living in clear poverty, and they are the only reason I am not giving this a lower rating. However, regarding the value for money, this stay was absolutely not worth $1,000. I would not return, and I cannot recommend this lodge to others.

Incredible place, very comfortable
Incredible experience. Bed was comfy equipped with mosquito net and cabins were clean and surprisingly bug free. Staff were friendly and the lodge is stunning. Our guide Carlos was brilliant. A truly magical experience and seamless from start to finish, would absolutely recommend Amak.
The food was good but as a vegetarian i had to explain this a few times when they gave me meat after which they served me vegetarian food apart from one night where i was served fried rice full of tiny bits of sausage that i had to pick around.
