We arrived in the late afternoon, and our host was waiting for us at the door of this lovely little family-run hotel, just on the edge of the town centre. She welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home straight away. We could choose our room, and she kindly gave us a room with a balcony at no extra charge.
She also took us to a local restaurant, where we had wonderful homemade food. Our daughter is vegan, and they even prepared a special dish for her that wasn’t on the menu. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture.
After our evening walk, our host was waiting for us at reception with a jug of homemade wine and a plate of fruit. She then took us up to a beautiful terrace overlooking the village church. Sitting there with a glass of homemade wine and enjoying the peaceful evening was such a lovely experience.
We slept very well. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and newly renovated and furnished.
Vigor is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience real Georgian hospitality. We felt very welcome and cared for during our whole stay. The beautiful surroundings and the warmth of our host made our visit truly special.
We would definitely recommend Vigor and would love to come back one day!

The staff. She was friendly and helpful.
Sewage smell from bathroom. Toilet was stained from use over time.
