Lovely hotel, very good value for money, rooms have stunning view, and right next to the beach. My parents ate dinner at the Indian restaurant downstairs every day because they liked it so much, breakfast was also great, staff all so kind and were really sweet to my one year old. Especially at the restaurant Ms Jusika and our server who was from Bali, also i don't recall the names but the nice man at the egg station as well as the tea person who made amazing chai for my parents. I also hurt my leg during the trip and the staff at front desk helped arrange for me to go to the health centre.
a very small face towel (maybe 20x20 cm thin one) was somehow misplaced i'm not sure how, we obviously don't have any reason to take one, and we checked everywhere while packing because our housekeeping guy flagged it couple days earlier (we stayed at the hotel for a week), and the hotel charged us 10 dollars at checkout for that! for an old small thin face towel, which is insane. i could see the front desk staff charging us felt really bad about doing it and offered a chocolate to my daughter, but mentioned it's hotel policy to do so. Hotel policy makers: Use some nuance in your policy making, charging a guest 10 dollars who booked 2 rooms for a week for a flimsy little towel is pretty dumb and just leaves a bad taste in the mouth at checkout.

Jusika was a star. She was so attentive and pleasant. She genuinely felt concern for my well-being. She checked on and made me feel welcome. Many of the staff members were kind and friendly. On my last day they did a design and a message on my bed which was sweet. Breakfast was ok. The omelettes and pancakes were tasty. The bread was hard.
There was dead cockroach in the staircase. I reported it but when I took the stairs a while afterwards, it was still there. That’s unacceptable. Also, there were several cats in the restaurant during breakfast. It was uncomfortable. That may just be how things are on the island though.
