The room we got was very centrally located which saved us a lot of time. We ate at all 3 a la carte restaurants but Azure was the best of the lot! The staff was also excellent there. The transfers and other arrangements were handled and coordinated very well (apart from a small confusion during arrival). The photo shoot was amazing!
The food could have been better. The arrival instructions were a little confusing. I think it is best to tell guests just to wait outside the arrival hall and not go all the way to the domestic terminal even if they don't see anyone (Since no one will be there).

The resort offers a good variety of facilities, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and weather during our stay. The beach villa was one of the highlights — comfortable, spacious, and offered a lovely tropical experience close to the beach.
The overall experience was good, but there were several areas that could be improved. The seaplane transfer is quite long and tiring, and the fixed flight timings offer very little flexibility based on guests’ preferred schedules.
The food was quite repetitive and average in terms of quality and variety. The bath towels were noticeably old and worn out and should definitely be replaced.
Although the beaches are beautiful, some areas have many rocks, which can make swimming and walking along the shoreline less comfortable.
The children’s facilities were fairly basic and could benefit from better maintenance. In particular, the outdoor splash/water play area showed significant wear and was not consistently operational. During our four-night stay, it was only available twice and for approximately two hours each time.
Overall, Kandima is a good resort with a wide range of facilities, but in my opinion, the experience was not particularly distinctive compared with what I would expect from a Maldives resort in this category.
