8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Beautiful quiet location, comfortable accommodation, stunning views. Fantastic host who went above and beyond with a couple of issues we had.
However, the Gas stove issues were quite concerning as we only noticed gas smell as we were awake watching tv at the time. Had we been asleep it could have been quite dangerous. Please consider replacing the gas stove asap for guest safety as this is a known issue. Perhaps replace with an electric hotplate until this is done.

Beautiful self contained cottage, set on beautiful grounds. We had a wonderful winter stay cosied up by the fire, sleeping in, cooking and exploring the state parks. We all arrived feeling exhausted but left feeling recharged, it was the perfect winter getaway and not too far from Melbourne.
