Anemomylos Houses

We had the most magical stay here for 6 nights. I have grown up holidaying all over Greece ànd lived here for a couple of seasons, this place reminds me of the authentic Greek accomodation, hospitality and family feel as it was when I was as a child, away from the hustle and tourist crazy spots. The lovely lady who lives above welcomed us like family, she even baked and cooked for us on 3 occasions. The most peaceful serene spot on the beach, views from your terrace across the sea and neighbouring islands, a short walk from the port ànd town. The cutest cats, especially mischievous Molly spent many nights getting tickles on our laps. Comfortable and clean accomodation in traditional Greek style, we had access to a small kitchen in room 1. The gardens are stunning ànd well kept. We will really miss this home away from home but would highly recommend for a stay here on the island. Mid October we still had sunny days but half of the restaurants are closed so we did a lot of cooking at home. Beautiful sandy clear blue beaches just a few minutes north of here

Nothing everything was great!

Beautiful property and lovely host Loved our stay

Location & Remoteness

Sorry , need stronger WiFi :-) + loungers wouldn’t be a bad addition

The property was a brilliant location, walking distance to everything you needed from beautiful beaches right into town. We had one of the ground floor studios which was a really nice set up - and comfortable for what we needed. The lady who was around to welcome us was also very nice, albeit we unfortunately didn’t speak each others language, she was none the less very welcoming

Unfortunately the air conditioning unit did not work in our studio and this was not communicated with us prior - which given how hot the islands can be, meant we weren’t very comfortable for the majority of our stay. We were moved on the last night to another studio, but it was a real shame the first few nights were very uncomfortable as we couldn’t even open the windows as the fly wire was broken and bugs were getting in. I hope in the future the hosts would be more transparent about this and offer a solution sooner. And definitely replace the air conditioning unit.
