The tenuta is a well maintained property. The garden is in "old english" style. There are some spaces to sit.
The pool is not very exciting.
We stayed in the second villa and it was quiet and calm, even though they play music on the property from 8-22h.
The room was ok - a nice bathroom with everything you need.
Bed was big and comfortable.
The service in the restaurant is not up to the level of the tenuta. The head waiter is not seeing well, doesn't understand english well, doesn't hear well and has every time to call the "boss" for help and translation.
Choice of food is rather limited - but ok for a short stay.
The same disaster at breakfast - service at the table - which I understand as they had not too many guests.
But ordering and receiving is another story - you need time ....
The other issue: the restaurant receive parties. The first night we had a russian / american group and it was very noisy.
The other night we had dinner there was a group of young french ladies ... and you can imagine the noise.
All in all - not a bad place to stay - but we will not go again.

C’est vraiment un endroit hors du temps !!
Accueil, confort, décoration, professionnalisme, c’est une étape exceptionnelle toute proche de Galipolli.
Parking facile d’accès et sécurisé.
Chambre magnifique (il manque un miroir) mais top confort
Le petit déjeuner à la carte est super et évite largement le gâchis des buffets.
Super restaurant avec le propriétaire qui dîne en terrasse au milieu des clients. C’est appréciable de trouver un établissement qui rempli toutes les cases.
Encore un grand bravo

A truly beautiful property with an idyllic pool and garden which makes it hard to leave. The family and staff who run it were exceptionally helpful, especially Arianna. Breakfast is very generously a la carte with friendly and attentive service by Matteo. The rooms are all unique with lots of space and in many cases spa baths. Some are in the main building and others are in another equally interesting building among the vineyards. Dante the Weimaraner is a very friendly presence around the main house, even when asleep in a leather armchair. We loved it.
The Tenuta was perfect. The surrounding area is not as pretty as other parts of Puglia. Gallipoli is worth a visit but parking is competitive, especially in the port. However within 30 minutes drive you have Lecce (beautiful), the Ionian beaches which are generally lovely and Santa Maria di Leuca which is charming and a seafood destination. It's a good base for all those.
