Staff were very attentive.
Game drive was very disappointing.

We stayed with my parents, and the hotel kindly upgraded both of our rooms, which was a wonderful surprise. The setting, just 50 minutes from Johannesburg, is magnificent. It truly feels like you're deep in the bush.
The staff couldn't have been better: friendly, attentive and always on hand with golf carts to take us from the car park to our rooms and to the restaurant. This made such a difference for my parents, who are both in their eighties and have limited mobility.
We loved our visit to the museum and found it fascinating to learn about our hominid ancestors and the story of human origins. The game drive was another highlight, and we saw lots of amazing wildlife. The food was delicious and the views were breathtaking.
Highly recommended for families, history lovers and anyone wanting a peaceful bush escape close to the city
It was all amazing!!!

The location was perfect, as we wanted to be close to the Lanseria airport. Personalised notes upon arrival celebrating our special occasion.
The accommodation was comfortable , clean and spacious.
I loved the interior and decor at the Cradle Boutique Hotel. It truly represents the spirit and people of South Africa.
I was disappointed with the service at the Spa. We waited so long just to be served drinks and platters, which was preordered when we left the OR Thambo airport. The facilities at the spa aren’t what I expected.

Check out time at 11am
Response time on whatsapp was stellar
The room service food wasnt good
The front reception could be friendlier when welcoming guests, it felt like I was handed rules of what I shouldnt do when I got there, no warmth at all.
I think when you mention breakfast included be clear that its one meal and a standard coffee, or just scrap the whole breakfast included option as to even get some extra fruit we are charged extra, there were so many extra costs. The sky room is actually small when comparing to the pictures.
