It was clean, everything except for towels was provided. There's an honesty shop which has towels, bits of food which is amazing. The WiFi is decent! The owner responded quickly, they're friendly. The housekeeping lady that we met was so lovely. Everything you could need for cooking meals is provided. The heating is excellent. The negative reviews on Google seem incredibly harsh, the lodges are pet friendly so there is going to be a little wear and tear. The skylights yes arent the cleanest but they're under trees so we expected as much and they do the job. We will definitely be booking again and the value for money is unmatched. Oh and the trains, it's next to a train line, not that loud unless you have the door open can sleep through easily.
Could do with instructions on how to use the radiators in the bathroom, I couldnt figure out how to turn them off. Likewise on dishwasher instructions, amazing it's provided but I was unsure on how to use it so chose to wash by hand rather than bothering the owner for something so trivial.
