Very friendly and homey spot at the top of that big climb out of Pontedeume. As a perigrina, I chose to get that big hill out of the way to make my walk to Betanzos easier the next day.
I walked in and was greeted with cold beer and a free slice of tortilla and bread - I felt very welcome. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower was great and wifi was strong
I had dinner of veal and chips which was excellent, and breakfast was ordered a la carte - I had scrambled eggs and toast, and lashings of coffee. The owner/bartender/cook was so kind and great at what he does.
I liked everything

Location to start Camino which cut off a long hill for the morning. Beds comfortable
So far from town with limited food options. Walls were thin so a bit noisy (unintentionally) from neighbouring guests

Good beds
Location was difficult on busy road.

The room was big
It was a kilometre and a half straight up a steep hill from any amenities. The surroundings were filthy and no place to nearby to buy water etc.
