Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem alten Fischerhaus und man darf sich vom Eingang und dem Treppenhaus nicht abschrecken lassen. Betritt man die Wohnung so fühlt man sich direkt wohl. Sie entspricht genau den Fotos und der Beschreibung. So eine gut ausgestattete und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung haben wir noch selten gesehen. Es war an alles gedacht. Über Kaffee, Tee, Saft, Cidre und Gewürze, Essig und Öl waren schon mal grundsätzliche Dinge vorhanden. Wir wurden von Stéphanie ganz herzlich und vor allem auf Englisch empfangen und sie hat uns direkt Tipps zum kostengünstigen Parken gegeben sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bei entstandenen Fragen konnten wir sie problemlos über WhatsApp kontaktieren und bekamen umgehend eine Rückmeldung. Es war ein total netter und herzlicher Kontakt. Wenn wir wieder mal nach Honfleur kommen werden wir versuchen diese Unterkunft wieder zu buchen, sie ist auf jeden Fall unsere erste Wahl. Vielen Dank Stéphanie, dass du so eine schöne Unterkunft geschaffen hast.
Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen und wir können einen Aufenthalt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

It’s a truly wonderful historic property as is the whole of Honfleur. Very comfortable, spacious, a huge bed that you would be happy to stay in all day if there wasn’t so much to see. Every amenity you could wish for. Stephanie the host, is a warm, engaging person who goes out of her way to make sure her guests are well looked after and comfortable. Parking is a few minutes walk away from the property next to the butterfly car park, and is charged at a rate of £6 sterling for 24 hours, although Stephanie managed to secure us a free space for a few days practically outside the apartment. Free WiFi, if it runs a little slow, you’re allowed to connect to her friend’s apartment upstairs which is fast and reliable. Honfleur itself is a wonderful, historic harbour town with restaurants and shops galore. We left our car parked and went everywhere on foot for 8 days, only exploring further to Giverny, which honours the famous impressionist painter, Claude Monet, who is also buried there. We found the menus a little hard to understand as they’re mostly in French, ( I need to learn the language more ), but the waiters are more than happy to help you understand.

It was a lovely, well maintained property with exactly what you need for self catering in terms of cooking facilities (although we ended up eating out every night as the local restaurants were so good and not as expensive as we thought they would be
There is a 10 minute walk from where you have to park your car. There is nothing the owner can do about this as the property is in a road where cars are not allowed.
