Clean, comfortable and central to town.

Top floor room a little small for the price.

Very friendly staff. Good car parking round the back of the property. Great location for the town. Good air-conditioning/heating.

TV wasn't working in the junior suite we booked. They gave us another room, with no argument. Breakfast was OK, I was expecting exceptional. Initial room booked was of strange design, which didn't work well for us. However, replacement room worked well.

All staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast really good.

10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026

Everything, period charm with a speak easy feel. Owner was very friendly and personable and made some exceptional cocktails. Breakfast was also the best I’ve had in a very long time.

Our bed was a little noisy but for a nights stay it was perfectly adequate.
