We loved our stay at Apartmenti Blu Mare. Small but not cramped at all, the apartment was spotlessly clean without feeling sterile, and there were lots of thoughtful homely touches that made it feel comfortable and welcoming.
Our host, Michele, was fantastic. He went well above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He spent time explaining the layout of Castellammare del Golfo, recommending places to eat and helping us make the most of our time there. He also arranged discounts with local businesses and restaurants, which was a lovely extra touch.
One of our favourite days was at the beach. Michele has partnered with a local beach club, and arranged transport, two sunbeds and an umbrella, coffees and a really good panini lunch. It was an absolute bargain price and made organising a beach day completely effortless.
Michele also helped us with our trip to Palermo, looking up the bus times, explaining where to catch the bus and generally making the whole thing much easier. He recommended La Maidda, a little local restaurant serving simple, delicious Sicilian food at very reasonable prices. We also received a 10% discount there thanks to Michele’s local discount card.
The apartment itself is in a quiet residential neighbourhood and has a view of the sea from the balcony. In the evening, the lights scattered across the surrounding hills were lovely. The beds were very comfortable and my sister and I both slept really well. Even the single bed was extremely comfortable, with a good mattress and decent pillows.
Michele is an excellent host who genuinely cares about his guests and takes the time and trouble to ensure they have the best possible experience. His recommendations and help really added to our holiday.
We would definitely stay at Apartmente Blu Mare again if we return to Castellammare del Golfo, and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
No criticisms to make. We really liked the apartment.

Abbiamo trascorso una serata bellissima a Castellammare del Golfo .
Tutto è stato perfetto, dall’inizio alla fine: l’appartamento era pulitissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli e non mancava davvero nulla. Si vede tutta la cura e l’attenzione che avete dedicato per rendere il soggiorno speciale.
Consigliamo assolutamente questa casa a chiunque voglia visitare Castellammare del Golfo. Grazie di cuore per la splendida ospitalità!
