Perfect location and walking distances to all the attractions...Not far from the port if you arrive via the ferry & lots of shops, restaurants within 5 to 7 mins walk. Breakfast was great as well with lots of options. Room size was quite big as well...

Centrally located city hotel in a very modern ecological friendly style. My room was generously sized and had a small balcony. Strong A/C , good WiFi, Modern shower with space, fridge and complimentary toiletries, also a kettle for tea and coffee. Exceptional professional and friendly staff, good breakfast.
The hotel was situated on a very lively square with 3 bars and cafes around. The windows couldn’t prove the sound away completely. Not for light sleepers. In front of the window and balcony were Lamelle pieces attached on the facade which cut light and view quite intense. Wash sink was situated inside the room. No normal TV channels watchable without a Netflix or Prime account TV was useless.

Convenient central location near everything (restaurants, shops, main tourist sites, ports) but located on a quiet street. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Air conditioning was useful for the summer heat.

Olive Green Hotel seems to have found the most amazing staff, they were all absolutely delightful, very capable, so welcoming, and very helpful, and super sweet to my little dog. The hotel is in a great location, with an easy walk everywhere, and a short walk from the bus station for anyone who is using that to get around. The room was very clean and comfortable, the internet speed was good, Air Conditioning was all you need to escape the heat, and the shower 'room' in my room was spacious. I had an early departure to catch a ferry, and they booked a really great driver for me, and organised a breakfast box that was waiting for me in the morning that was so generous I gave half of it to my driver because I couldn't carry everything (I was travelling with a dog and luggage + ferry 😉!). I ate the rest on the ferry and it was delicious. The staff at this hotel really are such an asset to the business, and I was blown away by how lovely they all were.
Unfortunately I didn't sleep well here, there was a lot of street noise that woke me up multiple times, including a car alarm that went off several times so I was exhausted in the morning. Also there was a bright light that randomly came on in the middle of the night from under/behind the bed that also startled me awake. I really wanted to stay here again on my return to Heraklion, and I would consider it again, but I recommend ear plugs (which is a problem if you need to hear your alarm for an early departure) and a sleeping mask. The shower didn't drain well, but I suspect much of Heraklion struggles with plumbing issues and there may not be much the hotel can do about it.
