The rooms were very clean and neat, the food was very tasty and the staff were very pleasant and willing to help. I would like to highlight Hajiah, she was very pleasant and accommodative to our needs.

Nice location and beach is very near
First day after we check in the room doesnt have the WIFI and the FAN was not working , so after day 1 they have changed us to another room, it is important to check all these when staying with family and small kids

I like everything apart from what I am stating below
The service staff were so slow at serving food or fixing an issue if you had any.

Pool area was reasonably good and our room, Mapenzi was in an excellent position.
Some staff were excellent, Faoud on reception and Akini in the restaurant, the rest needed to do some actual work!
Beautifully quiet and peaceful.
The company who owns this resort needs to invest as everything is looking very tired and run down.
Most staff appeared demotivated and lacked leadership and management.
The shower was cold, the tiles at the bottom of the pool had all peeled away amongst many other issues.
The restaurant area was chaotic with only a few guests about and service was extremely slow. Food was adequate. It looked like an old staff canteen. No flowers or candles on the tables. Zero atmosphere.
They also practically ran out of beer!
Litter was picked up off the beach, but it was elsewhere. Would it be that difficult to have litter picking in somebody's job spec? Security personnel seemed to amble around aimlessly with little to do.
Unless you are am excellent snorkeller, the sea bed is covered in sea urchins. 1 mile north of the resort has superb snorkeling. I went with local fisherman, Chico and had a great time. This was the saving grace to our stay here.
If you want peace and don't swim in the sea, you will be ok. Otherwise, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

"It was a very beautiful place, spacious accommodation, right next to the beach. Nice location with places to go & see nearby. The food was very nice as well. Very friendly and helpful staff."
