Best place I've stayed in India so far. Binu and his wife went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The room was big and clean with a lovely balcony that was completely surrounded by jungle and so peaceful to sit and watch for nature. Room stayed nice and cool all day and night. Breakfast everyday was tasty and included coffee made from their own garden. We also had dinner there every night of our stay which was incredible and very plentiful. Still dreaming about the biryani we had!
Nothing bad at all - location was secluded (which we loved) and Binu helped us get into town and back on multiple occasions which was so generous!

Lo que más me gusto fué el trato tan cercano que tuvieron conmigo, lo atentos que estaban en todo, la amabilidad, el poder compartir nuestras vidas hablando y compartiendo buenos momentos cualquier duda, ayudaban en todo lo que podian, eso hoy en dia es de agradecer y mucho. Muy agradecido. Lo que ayudaba y mucho también el entorno, rodeado de naturaleza, donde tuve el privilegio de poder ver todo de animles, desde diferentes tipos de especies de monos, a hasta muchas pajaros, y la clásica ardilla grande. Se vivia mucha paz y tranquildad, y para llegar el centro es caminar un poco, un bus local y ya llegas. Te hace darte cuenta que la vida es mucho más sencilla de lo que nos cremos. The hospitality from Binu and Leyha was exceptional, they went out of their way to make us feel at home, cooked amazing food and brought us deliciously spiced tea/coffee in the morning and afternoon. It was the best food we ate from our 2 month trip in Karnataka/Kerela, we had almost every meal with them, catered to my fussy travel buddy. The room is fantastic, especially the balcony and views into the jungle, we saw so many animals there - more than on the Periyar Reserve, and spent many hours just relaxing on the balcony. Binu loved the wildlife and would come find us when he spotted anything interesting. He was also extremely interesting to talk to about yoga, ayreveda and spiritual practice, he's a genuinely kind soul. We booked 2 nights and stayed 7. The local area is great to walk around, the people are so friendly, there are many small shops, for tea/ice creams and Binu was happy to (insisted on) driving us into town, or to the spice farm, or national park. Theres a couple of viewpoints to walk to also. They also have 4 lovely cats and 6kittens during our stay, which we cuddled regularly! Staying here, eating homecooked nurishing food, and being in nature was a genuine highlight of our travels in Kerela!
