We stayed there two nights and we had a lovely stay. Our room was huge, the pool is big and super clean, staff is very friendly and breakfast are yummy! They are helpful to book transportation, safari and whatever else you may need.

Everything was fantastic: food was exquisite, host was incredibly kind and helpful, the location was beautiful, …
Nothing, everything was great.

It was in a lovely location. The family were excellent and very warm and welcoming. Our room was large, comfortable and had a covered area to sit and look out.
Dinner and breakfast were both great and served in a thatched building with open sides. We also had a refreshing swim in the pool. All in all a great experience and we can totally recommend this property for your stay in Sigiriya.

Having covered some ground across Sri Lanka, we found this property very unique. A Family run business in a beautiful property.
There are a few areas that could enhance the overall experience. Firstly, I found the main front desk rep to be somewhat snooty and hesitant to assist guests. A more welcoming demeanor, accompanied by a friendly smile, would go a long way in creating a positive atmosphere. It's important for staff to engage with guests warmly and be approachable, as this can significantly impact the overall impression of the establishment. We were relieved that we only had two nights here, as the villa was not very comfortable. A random bath sits in the primary space where perhaps a dressing table or mirror could be placed instead. Additionally, the bathroom is large enough to be redesigned to make it more functional. There are also random steps across the villa, which pose a risk of tripping. While I understand the theme the family was aiming for, I don’t think they quite hit the mark. Overall, a little more attention to guest interactions and the design of the space could elevate the experience at this lovely location.
